Bruce Marshall Sessions
You may know that my open mic at Firefly’s on the third Wednesday of the month recently ended. I’m starting a new night at Main Street’s Market in Concord, MA on the third Wednesday called Bruce Marshall’s “Sessions”. Not an open mic but a featured artist night where I’ll open the evening then the feature will play for an hour, sometimes with me, alone or with their own player(s).
March 21st, feature singer/songwriter and rising star Dwayne Haggins! Dwayne brings a smooth style of old country blues and soul. His love of the music drives him to do a lot of his favorite covers while at the same time, mixing in some original music of his own.
April 18th, feature singer/songwriter Britt Connors blends blues, folk, and country with jazz voicings and pop sensibilities. With two acclaimed albums under her belt, Britt has been honing her craft as a songwriter for the last decade.
May 16th, feature is Mark Greenbaum! Singer/Songwriter Mark will be remembered by open mic fans for his Eric Clapton sound. Mark relocated to Rhode Island a few years back and we are thrilled to have him back in town for a Sessions feature. "Rhode Island’s own blues king, who lives and breaths each and every word and phrase he sings (you can just tell)".
