Bruce Marshall Sessions
October, 17th 7:30 pm
Join us for this new series hosted by Bruce featuring a new artist each month. October's feature is Brook Meggs and The Meggs Band!
Brook Meggs is a guitarist, songwriter and vocalist who has been performing since the 1970s, as a solo artist, as a member of dozens of bands from Southern California to New York City to Austin to Boston, and as a collaborator with a great raft of gifted musicians of every ilk. In 2005, he finally got around to releasing his first solo record, INSECURITY, followed by MARLBORO ROAD in 2011. The Meggs Band has spent the last few months in and out of Top Hat Recording in Knoxville TN, and work is nearly complete. Initial tracks will be available for download during Summer 2018, followed by the official release of the entire collection on 1/9/19.
The Meggs Band will kick things off at 7:30, followed by a set from Bruce and as if that wasn’t enough, the Meggs & Marshall guitar duo will reunite to close out the evening with a long-overdue set of new and old favorites.
