“If Dreams Were Money” is an original I wrote for Bruce Marshall and the Clue in ‘87. It won the Boston ASCAP Songwriters Workshop in ‘91 and the award was 40 hrs of studio time at Synchro Sound, the studio owned by The Cars. We ended up producing the first BMG record “Love of the Ride” w our studio time. Shortly after that my agent presented the song to Gregg Allman, who unfortunately passed on it. Fast forward about 20 years and his son Michael Allman sang and released it on his debut album and becoming one of his biggest songs. Going out to all the musicians and the entire gig industry who are out of work right now. This shall pass! Be safe and thanks for your support friends.
